A New Series

I'm adding a new series to my blog for a while. I'm adding no other, but the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. So far I have read three books (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and am on the fourth book ( Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). I still need to read the three last books. Anyway I'm adding this to my blog because I love these books and I want people to hear about them. So for the next few blogs don't be surprised if there's just Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Harry Potter!. Thanks for your cooperation once again. BBBYYYEEE!

First Harry Potter book

The first book in the Harry Potter series is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This book like all the other books in the series is by J.K. Rowling. This book is about how a boy named Harry Potter was put into his Aunt Petunia and his Uncle Vernon's care (they are Muggles- the term wizards call people who are not in any way magical). This is after he becomes an orphan ( His parents were murdered by Lord Voldemort. Harry survived with just a scar shaped like a lightning bolt. After this Lord Voldemort lost his power and then  disappeared. This made Harry so famleasantly surpous.). Life with the Dursleys ( this includes their son Dudley, who is about Harry's age) is horrible for Harry, so he is pleasantly surprised when he finds out he is a wizard. Life at Hogwarts(his wizarding school) has its ups and downs. He goes through many of these events with his friends  Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley and his enemy Draco Malfoy. This book though is mainly about how there's a secret room on the third floor that no one is allowed to go into. Harry and his friends get past it in order to see what's there. When Harry's the only one left he could be facing life or death. See what happens if you read the book. Anyway this is part of the movie of this book. Enjoy and BYE!!!!! 

Viewer Turnout :(

I'm sorry to say that I checked recently and my viewer turnout wasn't that good. I'm not saying that I'm not happy I actually have some viewers of my blog, but could you help me out? Some New Movies

Today I'm going to talk about a new movie coming out called the Hunger Games. As many know this is a movie that is coming into theaters on  March 23, 2012. Hunger Games is also actually like many movies based on a book in this series. I haven't read the books yet so I can't tell you what it is about, but I can say that I'm excited that the movie is coming out. If you are interested in what this book is about try searching it. ISAT Testing

Its that time of year again. For students all across Illinois its time again for ISAT ( Illinois Standards Achievement Test). For most schools it takes 1 1/2- 2 weeks to take, but for most students they wonder why of all things do we have to take this test. Well the answer to that is so they can test you and your school to see how well you compare to other students and schools around Illinois. Being a student taking it isn't fun. Sometimes its so agonizing to wait for a test you prepared for all year. You also get tons of nerves. Waiting for the results is just as hard because it takes a long time, usually to the next school year. You see how nerve wrecking this is, so I wish you all luck for those who have to take this test.
