Black History Month!

Today I just wanted to honor African Americans for black history month! For me Black History Month was started in order for the whole month to show appreciation. Appreciation from becoming free and escapee slaves to very successful doctors, lawyers, judges, and today even a president. It also means this is a month all black people everywhere can honor slaves who helped other slaves escape to many African Americans who took a stand against racism and segregation. Please one day this month remember to honor all these people who are a part of this journey by taking a moment of silence. Once again just wanted to say enjoy and remember Black History Month as an important month in everyone's history! Please add your comments to show what's important in your history! Valentine's Day Favorites

3rd and Final Book in Trilogy :(:(:(

This last book is Miss You, Mina by Denene Miller. It is about how this girl named Mina goes to New York City for an art camp for summer break. When she gets there the city is filled with all kind of wonders, but when Mina gets to camp all she wants to do is go home because of a snooty girl there. Will Mina go home, still desperately missing her friends or will things turn around for the better? That is something you need to find out for yourself. This is the last book in this trilogy. 2nd book

This second book, See You Soon, Samantha, is by Lara Bergen. On a scale from one to ten I would give this a nine and one half. This story is about how Samantha and her family are going to Samantha's mom's college roommate's beach house. At first Samantha is devastated to leave her best friends, but she thinks it will be also cool to live and be on the beach for her vacation. Her vacation is filled with ups and downs. The beginning of her vacation seems to tell the whole story, but it really doesn't. If you want to find out yourself how her vacation went just read the book because I won't tell you. BYE!!!!

1st Book

This first book is Wish You Were Here Liza by Robin Wasserman. It is about a girl named Liza who is going on a road trip with her mother, father, and two other families. At first all Liza can think about is how horribly hot it is, how weird the other families kids are, how cute the boy named Jake who came with one family is, how to get to stop people to stop calling her Lizard, and what she will send to her friends Samantha and Mina for a souvenir. Maybe she will have fun eventually, but for now this book is for me to know and you to find out.

New Idea

The next three posts I'll do is a trilogy. If you have followed my blog you should know this is a first. The trilogy that I will be be doing is about three books, Wish You Were Here, Liza,  See You Soon, Samantha, and Miss You Mina. These are Candy Apple Books if you are wondering. These 3 books are about three bests friends who are heart broken when they found out they won't be spending their vacations together, but they might just find fun without being with each other.With family and friends their summers might be okay. How they find it ? You have to read those books to find out.

At First Bite!

This is a cool new book I just read. Its name is At First Bite by Ruth Ames. It is a sequel to This Totally Bites! also by Ruth Ames. Does it sound familiar? That's because I did a post about that book at an older time. Anyway this book is about a girl named Ashlee who found out she was a vampire ( She found out when she got an invitation saying she needed to come to a ceremony to become a full-fledged vampire) She moved from New York to L.A. because her mom was going to be on a show. As Ashlee is on her quest to be the most popular girl at school as she was before and at the same time try to figure out the case of the Dark Ones ( a type a vamp.) she discovers many surprises and secrets. Who is the Dark One. Is it right in front of her eyes everyday she goes to school or is it someone completely different.
