Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to say this is one of my last blog posts for 2011.I'm counting down the days until 2012 is finally here!!! I know everybody is ready and excited to start a new year, but everybody knows they have moments from 2011 they don't want to leave behind. I'm still thinking about a resolution for the new year. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I'm writing this particular blog post because...... it's Christmas eve! I know everyone is looking forward to tomorrow with family, food, and of course lots of presents, but there are some people less fortunate that us. This year someone stole gifts from a charity called Toys For Tots. There were some anonymous people and people who gave back to the organization and got the money to build back up the gifts that were missing. Anyway remember to give back when you can and remember... Christmas is a time to give not receive. Again Merry Christmas. 

Supreme Superhero

Restaurants

Here are some cool restaurants where there are some delicious foods and specialties. Here is a count down of some of my favorite restaurants:

5:Old Country Buffet. It's an awesome restaurant where you get your choice of food and drink. You can also get your choice of seat or if you want to have a party there you can reserve it.

4: Fuddruckers. This restaurant is known for hamburgers. It has other options, but the hamburgers are the best.

3. Applebee's ( Neighborhood Grill and Bar). Here you can get varieties of foods from the grill and some delicious drinks. There are menus.

2: Outback Steakhouse. As you probably figured out its specialty is steaks. They have plenty other options, but if you've had their steaks you'll see why that's its specialty.

 

1. Red Lobster. This is the best restaurant. Their specialty is lobster of course, but their other meals are just as fantastic. There may be restaurants you like that aren't on here, but I think these are really good. Have any other ones? Just list them in you comments. Unfortunate Events

The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket is about the Baudelaire family. Sunny, Klaus, Violet lose their parents in a terrible fire and become orphans. Everything turns horrible from that. They get put in Count Olaf's care ( a relative they did not know) He tries to steal their fortune. After getting caught he escaped and continued after their fortune. The Baudelaire orphans try to get away from him, but in several disquises he got close, but not close enough to the orphans' fortune. Even though he never got it the orphans they suffered from encounters with him. If you want to know more try reading the series. It's time to say goodbye to November. Now we're all thinking about December. All fun stuff like Christmas ( gifts of course.) We're also thinking about terrible things like blizzards, but this is a time for being happy so here are some cool Christmas and holiday scenes.

Poison Book

 This Totally Bites! is by Ruth Ames. It is about how a girl named Emma Rose thinks she's a vampire. Part of her social studies project is track her family history. As she learns more about it and her Aunt Margo visits will her suspicions grow or will the go too far? You'll have to figure that by reading.

Black Friday: Pepper Spray?

We all know Black Friday is the most shopped day of the year because of sales, but how in the world does pepper spray associate with it. Well on Black Friday this year a woman ( identity not shown) pepper sprayed believed  to be up to 20 people. All of these people suffered from minor injuries. This happened because the woman wanted to buy a Xbox 360 set at a Walmart, but wanted to beat other shoppers for the Xbox because of the discount. She also bought the Xbox before she left, but afterward was arrested. There were also some other incidents, but not involving pepper spray.

I'm sorry about not blogging my followers. I just haven't had enough time lately to blog, but soon I'm going to make another post. So that answers all your questions I hope. Book Review Wednesday

Miss Popularity Best Friend Disaster is about when Cassie's friends Laura and Erin from Texas come for a visit for Cassie's birthday. Cassie's friend from Maine Etoile is excited about their visit, but when all of them come together they but heads. Her Texas girls and Etoile can't agree with anything, but with a little luck and Mary Ellen things just may turn around.

Thrilling Thursday

One of my favorite movies is Lion King 3D. Most people have watched the regular movie not in 3D, but in 3D it is amazing. The movie is about how Mufasa has a son named Simba and he is next in line to be king. Scar Mufasa's brother is upset because he never got to be king. Scar tricks Simba into believing he killed his father after he gets run over by a herd. Will Simba ever get the courage to do what's right? You'll have to watch the movie to figure it out youself.

Turkey Earthquake

On Sunday,October 23 Turkey was hit with a magnitude 7.2 earthquake. It is believed 432 people have died and over 1,300 injured. A surprising 970 buildings were believed to have collapsed. It only gets worse! About 200 inmates escaped when the jail building collapsed. Fortunately, 50 were recaptured. Different countries have offered Turkey help, but their president has said no to all countries but a few in Europe and the Middle East. If you want to comment about this disaster do it as much as you want.

Fashion Friday

These shoes are perfect! They are purple and have high heels.These are so cute because they are boots.

This is one of my favorite pants because of the patterns. This is so cool because it's blue and black.

I love the white top and the polka dots on the bottom. The sash or belt really brings this outfit together. 

I am so happy about this skirt because ever since I have adored ruffled skirts with bows.

This top is awesome because it is purple , my favorite color and it shows bffs so you can get one for you and your best friend. This also shows two girls from a cool show.

Book Review Wednesday

Today I'm talking about Lisa Greenwald's book My Life in Pink & Green. It is about how Lucy Desburg found out her family's pharmacy is in danger of getting foreclosure. Lucy tries many different things to help the pharmacy get more popular with customers. My favorite plan that I think got the most money was doing different people's makeup. This story goes to Lucy yelling at her grandmother to Lucy and her best friend Sunny telling each other about their crushes. I would give this book a 9 out of 10 over all. Fall Break: Halloween Costumes

I'm a rockin 80's chick. This is a costume that shows your 80's side. Unfortunately it's sold out for the season.

I was born to be bad. This a devil costume.It's a simple costume with a shirt and  skirt. This comes with a tail .

Bzzz where's my honey! Who wouldn't want such a cute costume. You can get so many assessories to match this costume.

Hi Hello Kitty. If your a hello kitty fan this is great for you. It's a shirt with her on it with a hot pink skirt.

Who doesn't want a little candy corn? Well this costume has stripes.(candy corn colors) and a cute striped hat.

Arrgh! Every girl needs a little pirate in them and this will be just  enough. From the bandana to the leggings to the gloves this is perfect.  

Book Review Wednesday

Today I am talking about this book. The Twin's Daughter is about how a girl named Lucy finds out her mother had a twin. She found out the day her Aunt Helen knocked on the door.This story shows how Aunt Helen grows more and more of Lucy's family. Unfortunately she is murdered. As Lucy gets more confused which twin survives she put two and two together. The murderer is finally uncovered. This fall means new fall fashions! Every week starting now I will make a outfit of the week.                                  

This is the pant of the week. I like this because of the buttons  and the different colors. I like tie dyed kind of colors. So this is right for me.

This the shoe of the week. I love it because it's black and because of the covering. I also like it because of it's style. This is just the perfect shoe!

This is the shirt of the week. I like this shirt because it has fall qualities. I also like it because of the bright  pink and white. To me it makes the shirt pop out.

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama is  a fashion icon,powerful,and the first lady of the United States. She is so powerful in 2006 she was one of the 25 most inspiring woman. Michelle Obama is also  important in fashion because in 2007 she was one of 10 people in the world for best dressed in Vanity Fair. Also, she was recongnized by People for her classic,confident look.

Michelle Obama's occupation is being a lawyer,but since she is the first lady she's been doing other things. She started the Let's Move project to help obese kids. She goes around to schools,governors,and food makers to show that they should have salad bars,gardens,and more physical activities. So this is why I admire Michelle Obama.
